INDUSTRIAL CHLORINE REMOVERS
The industrial chlorine removers are filters consisting of a column containing a filtering bed of selected granular active carbon of vegetable origin with high internal surface and porous structure, optimal for absorbing organic compounds.
A periodic counter-washing of the filtering bed is sufficient to ensure filter efficiency. As for the other models, these operations are automatically handled by the pack of automatic valves installed on the filter-front. The equipment is operated by a computerised electronic automatism with microprocessors, which allows to program the duration of the various regeneration phases. The hydraulic unit that controls regeneration consists of 5 butterfly valves controlled by low-voltage driven solenoid valves. The cylinder is made of carbon steel with epoxy resin lining suitable for food use and outer coating; the cylinder has distribution plate with polypropylene diffusers, manholes and control pressure gauges.
