INDUSTRIAL IRON REMOVERS

The industrial iron removers are made of a column containing a filtering bed made of manganese dioxide (pyrolusite), that acts as a catalyst to oxidise iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide present in the water.

A periodic counter-washing of the filtering bed is sufficient to ensure filter efficiency. This is automatically performed by the pack of automatic valves installed on the filter-front. The cylinder is made of carbon steel with epoxy resin lining suitable for food use and outer coating; the cylinder has distribution plate with polypropylene diffusers, manholes and control pressure gauges.

Standard models with different diameters from 800 mm to 2400 mm
Connections from 2” (DN 50) to DN 125
They allow reducing iron and manganese in drinking water
Treatment material: high quality and purity pyrolusite (manganese dioxide)
