JUPITER CAB water softeners are cabinet model softener filters where the filtering tank is installed inside the brine tank.
These appliances represent a compact and elegant water softening solution for domestic use and small systems. Removing hardness preserves systems from limescale and scale deposits, the primary cause of malfunctions and breakage of boilers, solar panel, etc.
Inside JUPITER CAB, water is softened through ion-exchange process where calcium and magnesium ions (the elements that cause water hardness) are replaced with sodium ions through specific resins.
To maintain the level of efficiency of the treatment, the softener simply periodically regenerates the resins. This is carried out automatically by the multi-function controlling head, driven by an electronic displacement timer/control.
JUPITER CAB water softeners are built with non-toxic materials that are suitable for contact with drinking water.
